Gift yourself a couple hours to get creative, dive into some special fabrics, feel festive and enjoy some snacks over the sewing machine alongside your neighbours.
You will never have to buy and throw out single use decorations again once you have DIY'd your own special bunting flags for summertime fun at home, at the campsite, backyard barbeque or any gathering here on after!
In this workshop we will be cut cut cutting and stitching together as many metres of bunting that you can. You will learn techniques to cut straight, pivoting around shapes, bagging out and patience with sewing loads of straight lines.
This workshop is made accessible at $10 per person thanks to the generous support of Creative Communities Fund.

This session is suitable for beginner sewists with some experience on a machine.
WHAT TO BRING: Bring a sewing machine if you have one. Please get in touch if you don't we can borrow some from the WEC Tool Library.
